These categories, some of which may be created in the future by the Board of APHA to meet the growing needs of APHA, will provide educational and networking opportunities to physicians, scientists, nurses, among others. The initial membership category will be for physicians and scientists and is meant to recognise outstanding physicians who have contributed significantly to cardiovascular medicine.
